All buyers are subject to this sales policy, upon pickup, our sales policy must be signed
We have the right to refuse any sale, at any time, for any reason.
I cannot guarantee on the future size, show quality, breeding ability or temperament.
I cannot guarantee the sex of the animal, I do make mistakes although generally I am accurate. You are more than willing to come and check over your rabbit.
All of my animals are sold on a first come first serve basis. Unless a deposit has been placed or the full payment has been made.
All my buns will go home with a small care kit that includes transitional food, transitional hay and lifelong email support from us!
The Interest List
If you wish to be placed on the interest list, please fill out the Application Form! The interest list is not a "holding" list. You do not need to make a deposit to be on it, but you must fill out an application form. You will receive a confirmation email stating that your application has been accepted and that you have been placed on the interest list. Once you are on the interest list, there is no obligation of buying a rabbit, being on the interest list simply means you will be contacted when what you are looking for appears or if we have any available buns. However, after we have contacted you about a certain rabbit, to ensure you get that rabbit you must place a deposit on it to hold it.
The Application Form & Reserving Your Bun
Once you fill out the application form and receive the confirmation email that it has been accepted and approved, please keep your eye on our social media, and Adoption/Nestbox pages. We will announce the reservation dates on all of our social media platforms and under each litter on our website.
Mark This date on your calendar.
We will not accept reservation emails unless you have filled out an application and received your confirmation.
On the date of reservation, email [email protected] with the bun of your choice, name and listed number on the website. Please include a second or even third choice if you have one.
We will begin accepting emails starting at 7:00 am Pacific Time Zone
We will work through our emails in a first come first serve basis until each rabbit has a home.
If we end up with buns still available, we will contact our interest list..
We will send you an email confirming which bun you have reserved (or if none, we will clarify that as well).
Once you have reserved your bun, you have 24 hrs to place a 50% deposit to hold that bun.
Placing Deposits/Holding Rabbits
If you are interested and would like to buy a particular bun, please mark you calendar of the reservation date, and email us at [email protected] on reservation day (refer to paragraph above for instructions).
You cannot put a rabbit on hold that is less than 3 weeks old (prior to reservation date). Before 3 weeks of age, I do not know the full potential of the rabbit, this may change as they grow. As well, this helps me ensure that the rabbits are all healthy before a hold is placed.
To put a rabbit on hold there is a 50% deposit required. This deposit is non refundable. It may however be moved from one rabbit, to another rabbit of equal value that is still available. Deposits cannot be moved after the bun on hold is 6 weeks of age.
Some exceptions may be made by Sinclair rabbitry bc, but we have the right to refuse deposit switching after buns are 6 weeks old.
This deposit can only be cancelled by Sinclair Rabbitry BC. If this hold is cancelled by us, the deposit money will be returned in full.
Prices on buns are subject to change until a hold is placed. Prices may change as buns develop and mature depending on their body, colours and potential.
If a rabbit is not picked up on the date arranged, and you have not changed the original date of pickup, the rabbit will be put back up for sale and any deposits not refunded.
I will hold a rabbit for no more than 7 days passed the day of sale, unless other wised arranged. If at the end of 7 days their has been no contact about pickup, I will put the rabbit back up for sale. If you arrange to put a rabbit on hold for more than a week past the day of sale their is a $15 fee per week added on to the cost of the rabbit at time of purchase. This $15 covers food for the rabbit as well as housing, bedding, maintenance etc.
Pricing
Prices are based off of Temperament, Colour, Body, Brood/Show Potential.
Prices range from $100-$250 at this time.
Breeding rights and Pedigrees are sold on top of price. (Please note at this time we are not offering either of these)
Payments
Sinclair Rabbitry BC accepts etransfer and cash for deposits and complete payment from Canadian Customers.
From US Residents, we accept payments for deposits using Cash, Paypal, or Facebook Messenger.
(Facebook Messenger does not have a service charge, so we recommend using this.) If you choose to use Paypal instead, the 4% service charge will be added on to the total deposit.
Age Requirements
No sales will be made to a minor. If you are under the age of 18 please have your parent or legal guardian contact us about purchasing a bunny and making payments.
Health Guarantee
I guarantee that any rabbit I sell, will be to the best of my knowledge, free of all illness. By accepting the rabbit, you also agree that the animal is healthy and is in good condition. At time of sale, I will look over the rabbit in front of you, and show you, and explain everything that I am doing so that you can be sure your rabbit is healthy. After 24 hours of the rabbit leaving here, I cannot guarantee the health of the rabbit. I offer a 24 hour health guarantee, this comes with the rabbit you buy for no extra cost! If within 24 hours, the rabbit becomes sick I do not offer a refund on money. I will however replace the rabbit with another that is of equal value. To replace a rabbit, the original rabbit needs to be brought back to me. I will not be responsible for any vet bills. However, I will give you any advice needed for your rabbit!
Of course with any situation, please contact us and we will do our best to fix any problems or help you however we can!
Breeding/Pedigrees
At this point, we are not selling pedigrees or breeding rights with our buns. It is important to note that our buns are related and as such should not be bred to one another. As well, we do not produce brood/show rabbits at this time and therefore do not sell rabbits as brood or show rabbits. By buying our rabbits you agree to not breed these rabbits unless otherwised discussed with us and a separate agreement has been made.
Starting fall of 2021, we will be selling breeding rights on all our rabbits for 50% of the cost of the bun. When you purchase a bun from Sinclair Rabbitry BC you sign an agreement that states you will not breed our buns without purchasing breeding rights.
If you are a rabbitry located within 4 hours of our rabbitry, let us know. Sinclair Rabbitry BC can work out a deal on breeding rights for future stock discounts.
First Offer Back Policy
We ask that if you are no longer able to keep your bun, for whatever reason, you first offer the bun back to Sinclair Rabbitry.
We want you to know we will gladly take our buns back, and always love reconnecting with them.
Shipping
Sinclair Rabbitry can ship their rabbits through flight. If you are interested in flying your rabbit to the nearest airport, let us know and we will set it up. Flying a rabbit can be less stressful for the bun than driving long hours in a car.
If you have questions about sending your rabbit via air, let us know and we will be happy to talk with you about it.
Due to Covid 19, we are currently not shipping any rabbits. You are welcome to pickup at our rabbitry, or arrange for delivery!
Don't Forget!
Please bring a carrier or cardboard box with shavings or hay in it for your rabbit at time of sale.
